Day 2. . . . Does it get any easier?

Well if the process of being born was not hard enough, try playing hot potato with about a bazillion people and you are the potato. It wasn't too bad I guess. Mom assured me that know one would try to take me away.(I'm not so sure. Did you see the look in Nana and Gram's eyes) I guess it is hard to explain that day so check out my movie montage. Here are my memories of the day.

I hope you enjoyed this production.

How it all started.

Mom woke up dad early in the morning and told him it was time to go to the hospital. That is them and our Maisy getting ready to leave. Life as they knew it was about to end. That is our bathroom. Look close because it will probably never look that clean again. Mom went on a crazy cleaning spree just before I was born. She wanted me to have a clean house to come home to. After the photo it was time to grab the bags and head to the hospital.(My family over packed as usual) Dad just wants to be prepared for all situations.

Well after a long labor(around 22 hours), I finally show up at 8:37 PM on Friday May 30th, 2008.

I have many photos of after I was born to share with everyone, but I will show just a few of our favorites right now.

This is one of the first pictures taken of me. It is one of my Dad's favorites. I think because it is one of the first ones that I was not crying in. For some reason the nurse wanted to put her finger in my mouth. Not as tasty as one would think.

This one on the left is one of my Mom's favorite pictures from that day. I have some really crazy hair going on. I was real busy being born and didn't have time to fix my hair. Sorry guys.

This photo is of me being put on a scale. If I had known they were going to check my weight I would have worked out a little more before I got here. Well, I will know for next time. Those numbers are right. I was half an ounce from being 9 lbs. The doctors thought I was going to be a small baby. Maybe they were telling mom that so she wouldn't be so nervous.

The last photo is our first family photo. Well Maisy isn't in the photo, for some reason they will not allow puppies into the hospital. We tried to tell them that she was a service dog, but they were not buying it. Well that is my Mom and Dad. I'm the little guy in the blanket or as I like to call them "the baby straight jacket".

I guess that is all for now. I just thought I would share how it all got started. I know it was hard on my Mom, but I think it was well worth it. Sorry guys for all the trouble I have caused so far, but everything is getting easier.
